Lost Childhood Object

 Lost Childhood Object      For this project I paired with my good friend Creed Bauman, Creed's lost childhood object was a Lightning Mcqueen race car. In talking with Creed he explained how his car had been by his side for the majority of his life between years six to eight.  A story was told how on a sunny afternoon Creed was stopped from running and playing outside until he put sunscreen on, which, he then took literally and put on himself and his toy car. The sunscreen ended up bleaching the plastic leaving the car faded and soon to be colorless. Although his car was colorless, this aesthetic defect did not stop him from playing with and pretend-driving it all along the sidewalk and every nook and cranny of his house.     Recreating a lost childhood object for anyone is a difficult task.
